The O.T.A. was reformed following the 2002 centenary reunion after being dormant for thirty years. The aims of the association are to foster social intercourse between alumni of the school by organising a small number of events each year. We also aim to satisfy cravings for nostalgia by acquiring, digitising and displaying, on the site, any records, mementos and other ephemera that we can.

Events

  • Birmingham Museum's Archive.

The collection is of exhibits which used to be at the old Science Museum.
There are archaeological items, old cars, pottery, paintings and many other pieces for which the main Museum has no space at the moment.
We are taking a guided tour on Wednesday 17th March. This will be led by a member of the Museum staff which gives the visitor a taste of the wealth of material in storage.
